Update: 9.20.05

William is cruising right along ... we did have a little scare this past weekend though. Around 9:30 am, WIlliam seemed a bit warm so Jamie took his temp. and it said 101. Naturally, she became quite concerned and so she called me and we decided to get a new thermometer before heading to the hospital. By the time we bought the new thermometer, William's temp was 98. Part of the reason we were so concerned was that he has been couging lately (as all of us have here in the Wright house thanks to Walker). On Monday, Jamie and William went into the clinic for a regular visit. The physicians said that not only was William doing great, but that his lungs sounded perfect. We are still on TPN (feeding him through his centrail line) but we are down to 8 hours a night on that. We are praying he can come off of it very soon becuase it keeps him awake at night.

One more thing, the results from the test that they use to see if someone has CGD (the disease WIlliam had) came back a couple of weeks ago. William no longer has CGD. How wonderful to be on the side of recovery in all of this.
