Preconditioning Starts

Tomorrow, William’s preconditioning begins (chemo). He will be given several different types of chemo to precondition his body to receive his new bone marrow from Walker (his brother). William has a real peace about him and I cannot tell you how many of the nurses and doctors have commented on how happy and delightful William has been. I am certain that the Spirit is comforting and drawing near to Will in a very real way; a way that speaks directly to his four-year-old mind.

Here is a picture of Bubba loving on William. These two spent last night together and Will loved it!!! Thanks to the Dallas crew for loving on Walker last week and for driving him down so his mommy and daddy could see him. Walker is walkin’ really well now and two more teeth have broken through.

Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for William’s chemo treatments: that the chemo would do nothing more or less than exactly what it has been designed to do.
2. Pray for our physicians, nurses, lab technicians: They will be watching William very closely as he enters this part of his Bone Marrow Transplant. Pray for accuracy in their work and give thanks for their service.
3. Give thanks for how so many have rallied around and supported us. You have been Christ to us and we are thankful to Him for you.
