Blood Update

Thank you to the many that have inquired and been willing to donate their blood and platelets to William. There has been an account set up in his name at any of the 13 area Gulf Coast blood bank locations. (www.giveblood.org) Our doctors have said that a small pool of donors willing to give more than one time would be the most beneficial for Will. (not introducing a different donor at every transfusion) This seems more likely with platelets because they can be donated more frequently, but not too far in advance (within 5 days of being needed). When blood is donated the donor must typically wait 6 -8 weeks to donate again They are only taking O+, even for the platelets. Any of you wanting to donate in his name, there will be a credit applied to his account. You must schedule an appointment for platelet donations. The information you need to know is : William B. Wright, dob: 4-12-01, Texas children's Hospital, transplant date 6-29.
Thank you for the life giving support (literally) you all are giving us. We love you and are so thankful for you and the way the Lord is using you to love us.

Please let us know if you have donated so that we may keep up with the supply. THANK YOU!

Will, I just dropped off a pint of Graham Family Farm Fresh Certified Organic O+ Blood for you. Hopefully it won't raise your cholesterol level too much, but you're young enough that you don't have to worry about that kind of stuff, yet. We will miss you as we move to Arizona, but we will be checking up on you and praying for you!!

Kerry, Kristina, Kennah, and Kolton Graham
